JONATHAN LOWRIE
DIRECTOR
Jonathan Lowrie has been a choral director and performer in the Greater Detroit Area since 1999. He received his degree in Music Education from Western Michigan University in 1998 and graduate studies in Humanities through California State University and Educational Leadership at Marygrove College.
Aside from his formal education, he has performed in venues and stadiums as a soloist and chorus member in the United States and abroad in the cities of St. Petersburg and Moscow, Russia, and in Prague, Czechoslovakia. Jonathan spent most of his years in education as the choir director at Almont Community Schools. After his tenure with Almont, he performed with the Michigan Opera Theatre before becoming the director of the GM Chorus/Motor City Chorale.
Jonathan also plays the piano and spends much of his free time participating in sports and enjoying time with his family.

MIN SOOK
ACCOMPANIST
Playing piano and organ had been an important part of Min’s life since she was six years old. She majored in organ performance at Yeon-Sei University in Seoul, South Korea. From 1985 to 1990, she accompanied the World Vision Korea Children’s Choir.
In 1990, Min visited the United States for the first time and played at Carnegie Hall as an organist when her Young-Nak Presbyterian Church from Seoul had a concert tour in North America. In 1997, she won 3rd place in an organ playing competition at the 37th Annual Conference on Organ Music, held at the University of Michigan School of Music.
Currently, Min is an organist/pianist at First United Methodist Church in Warren.
