Founded in 1978, the Troy Community Chorus unites approximately 100 voices across the Detroit metropolitan area. Our diverse singers share a passion for music and performance, enriching our communities through song.

The Troy Community Chorus welcomes singers from all backgrounds and musical experiences and is always eager to add talented voices to our growing membership.

Our chorus is a non-auditioned group that welcomes adult singers who:

Have a passion for music and performance.

Demonstrate the ability to sing by matching pitches and musical patterns with a pleasing vocal tone.*

Commit to rehearsal attendance every Tuesday from 7:30 PM to 9:30 PM.

*In the event a member struggles with this ability, affecting the quality of the chorus, it will be taken under advisement by the Troy Community Chorus Board and it’s Director. As a result, the member may be asked to leave the chorus and be given a full refund for their membership fee.
